Neem Therapy Clarifying Beard Oil

The Neem Therapy range is a collection of treatments designed to bring the best of neem and other premium ingredients to recreate a spa treatment experience at home.

This is a blend of coconut, avocado and jojoba oils to nourish and protect skin and beard. They will combat redness and flakiness, clear pores and follicles and nourish and smooth the skin, while the neem extract and essential oils give antibacterial, antifungal and antiviral protection- and keep any bugs at bay! Sandalwood will stimulate beard growth. This is especially indicated for flaky, sparse beards and acne-prone skin.

For your curiosity:  the oldest known full sentence in the world has been found recently: written in Canaanite on an ancient ivory comb in Canaanite- it says,

'May this tusk root out lice of the hair and beard'

and remains of headlice were found on the comb. Canaan was a civilisation that flourished in present day Israel in the Late bronze Age around 1400 BC- and the comb inscription shows not only that the alphabet was used some 3700 years ago, but also that some problems (headlice) have never really gone away!

These days we have fewer issues with head and beard lice these days, but it's worth remembering that neem has been used to treat headlice for thousands of years...

Instructions for use

Apply to a mostly dry beard after your daily shower or wash beard with warm water and pat dry. Massage 3-5 drops of oil into the beard in a downward motion and comb through.

It is advised to use the oil daily and this bottle should last 3-6 months.

Use for a smoother shave: Wash the face and pat dry, massage a half to one pipette of oil into the still damp skin and shave.

Note: For external use only- and avoid eyes. Do not use if you have known sensitivity to any of the ingredients listed. If irritation occurs, wash with a mild soap. Suitable for age 3+

Our Ingredients:

• Pure Neem Extract:   Neem has many strong anti-oxidants and is also active against many bacteria, including those implicated in acne. It also has antifungal, anti-viral,  anti-acne and anti-dandruff (Malassezia) properties (mostly thanks to its high nimocinol and sulphuric compound content), and also encourages hair growth thanks to its ability to stimulate blood circulation in the scalp.      This oil based treatments contain a very pure form of concentrated neem leaf extract obtained by carbon dioxide supercritical extraction. This method of extraction leaves no residue in the final extract, and captures more of the delicate phytonutrients, giving an extract 50 times as strong as normal neem leaf- this makes our neem extract super pure, super-concentrated and super-therapeutic. 
• Coconut oil">Coconut oil is moisturising and prevents dryness and flaking of skin. It also delays the appearance of wrinkles and sagging of skin and helps in treating various skin problems including psoriasis, dermatitis, eczema and other skin infections. It is also rich in lauric acid, which is known for being anti-viral, antibacterial and anti-fungal
• Avocado oil (Persea gratissima oil) Avocado oil moisturises and nourishes the skin thanks to its high content of omega-3 fatty acids and vitamins , D and E, potassium and lecithin. It is a natural anti-inflammatory and helps relieve irritation from eczema, psoriasis and acne
• Golden Jojoba oil (Simmondsia chinensis)- Golden jojoba oil has a composition almost identical to natural skin oil- making it lightweight and fast absorbing, while being deeply nourishing and protective.  While it nourishes your skin in all the right ways, it helps control sebum in your skin, and will not clog pores or cause build-up of sebum and pimples, like many heavier oils do. Jojoba also contains  a high level of vitamin E and has been shown to increase skin collagen, reduce wrinkles, promote wound healing and reduce scarring. It is also anti-inflammatory and soothing for dry skin conditions such as eczema and psoriasis and is naturally antibacterial and antifungal. (Salmonella, E.coli and candida)
• Sweet Orange Peel oil is known for its astringent and anti-bacterial effects and
• Sandalwood is antibacterial and stimulates beard growth Both of these essential oils are beneficial for acne-prone skin.
