Neem Therapy Nail and Cuticle Oil

The Neem Therapy range is a collection of treatments designed to bring the best of neem and other premium ingredients to recreate a spa treatment experience at home.

This is a non-greasy formula to nourish, moisturise and protect nails and the skin around them. A blend of organic jojoba, avocado and wheatgerm oil with an extra helping of olive-derived squalane to condition and strengthen flaking nails and shrink cuticles. The neem extract and essential oils combat redness, encourage nail growth and give antibacterial, antifungal and antiviral protection. The oils reduce brittleness and give the nails a natural sheen- and can help extend the life of your gel and nail polish, if applied once the varnishes have hardened.

The oil can be used on hands and feet to fight infections, warts, dermatitis and athletes foot. In addition, the bitterness of neem will help discourage nail biters, helping keep your nails in beautiful condition!

Instructions for use

Soften nails and cuticles in warm water for 5-10 minutes. Dry gently and apply 2-3 drops of oil to the cuticles and massage in and allow to dry before buffing nails.

Note: For external use only- and avoid eyes. Do not use if you have known sensitivity to any of the ingredients listed. If irritation occurs, wash with a mild soap. Suitable for age 3+

Our Ingredients:

• Pure Neem Extract:  Neem leaves contain high quantitites of nimocinol and sulphuric compounds with insecticidal and antifungal effects. Neem has many strong anti-oxidants and is also active against many bacteria, including those implicated in acne. It also has antifungal, anti-viral,  anti-acne and anti-dandruff (Malassezia) and also encourages hair growth and general health.      The oil based treatments contain a very pure form of concentrated neem leaf extract obtained by carbon dioxide supercritical extraction. This method of extraction leaves no residue in the final extract, and captures more of the delicate phytonutrients, giving an extract 50 times as strong as normal neem leaf- this makes our neem extract super pure, super-concentrated and super-therapeutic. 
• Golden Jojoba oil (Simmondsia chinensis)- Golden jojoba oil has a composition almost identical to natural skin oil- making it lightweight and fast absorbing, while being deeply nourishing and protective.  While it nourishes your skin in all the right ways, it helps control sebum in your skin, and will not clog pores or cause build-up of sebum and pimples, like many heavier oils do. Jojoba also contains  a high level of vitamin E and has been shown to increase skin collagen, reduce wrinkles, promote wound healing and reduce scarring. It is also anti-inflammatory and soothing for dry skin conditions such as eczema and psoriasis and is naturally antibacterial and antifungal. (Salmonella, E.coli and candida)
• Coconut oil">Coconut oil is moisturising and prevents dryness and flaking of skin. It also delays the appearance of wrinkles and sagging of skin and helps in treating various skin problems including psoriasis, dermatitis, eczema and other skin infections. It is also rich in lauric acid, which is known for being anti-viral, antibacterial and anti-fungal
• Olive Squalane - Derived from olive oil, it is a great alternative to silicones in hair and nail care. It softens the skin, boosting cell regeneration and reducing the signs of ageing. It is a component of sebum in young people so is well-tolerated.
• Rice (Oryza sativa) bran oil- rich in antioxidants, including ferulic acid, contains moisturising polysaccharides and omega-3 fatty acids and micronutirentsvitamins B and E, and contains squalene- a protective and conditioning substance which helps restore hydration and strength
• Avocado oil (Persea gratissima oil) Avocado oil moisturises and nourishes the skin thanks to its high content of omega-3 fatty acids and vitamins , D and E, potassium and lecithin. It is a natural anti-inflammatory and helps relieve irritation from eczema, psoriasis and acne
• Lavender- Lavender is well known for its relaxing aroma; it has been associated with feelings of being relaxed, comfortable and cheerful in people and pets, and may have antidepressant effects. Herbal baths and pillows with lavender have been shown to promote deep and restful sleep. It is also a strong anti-inflammatory useful in wound healing, and has proven anti-fungal effects.
